In Spring 2016, our design class partnered with community leaders in the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh to capture the unique character and help revitalize the neighborhood. I worked with four of my classmates to redesign and conceptualize a space in the Hill District that was called the Court of Ideas. Our project began with a period of research to understand the neighborhood's attributes and needs, which we incorporated into a conceptual design that we eventually presented to the community.
