When I came to college, I became very aware of the difficulties associated with shopping for groceries without a car. I developed a carrier that would appeal to the female college student audience and offer greater convenience when handling heavy groceries. The carrier collapses into a backpack for easy transport, and unfolds into a rolling cart with a fabric basket and hooks for attaching an additional bag.
Reaching the final product relied heavily on research and interacting with the intended audience. I also gained key insights from prototyping and trying out different ideas.
